Chicago Pop Culture Con is a multi-genre convention of Comics, Toys, Gaming, SCI-FI, Legos, Stars, Anime, Horror Films, TV/MOVIE MEMORABILIA, Autographs, Super Heroes, Anime, Action Figures, Cosplay, Fantasy, Horror, Collectibles, Sports Memorabilia, Non Sports Cards, Vintage Music Memorabilia, Publishers & Artist Convention – but open to anything fan-related! It’s all here at the Chicago Pop Culture Show & Sale, set for Saturday and Sunday, November 26 & 27 in St. Charles, IL!
The weekend will be packed with displays, memorabilia, and special guests. Pop Culture Con is a multi-genre convention of comics, toys, gaming, sci-fi, Legos, TV/movie memorabilia, superheroes, autographs, action figures, animé, cosplay, fantasy, horror, sports memorabilia, vintage music, publishers and artists – anything fan-related!
They have a long list of special guests lined up to appeal to every fan!
- Steve “Mongo” McMichael: Superbowl XX Champ and WCW Wrestling Champ will appear Saturday, Nov. 26, from 1:00-2:30 pm.
- Deep Roy: Well-known actor with roles in various Star Wars films, Star Trek, Transformers, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Neverending Story, Doctor Who, East Bound & Down, and many more!
- Ron Fitzgerald: Actor and Gothic Illusionist, Master of the Dark Realm, is an actor, Gothic illusionist and host for dark, sticky fun! He has appeared in films like The Item, The Thirsting, Blood Gnome and more!
- Svengoolie: TV Horror Host of a long-running program in the Chicago area, which has expanded to MeTV who will be appearing Sunday, Nov. 27, 10am to noon.
- Ari Lehman: The first “Jason” is an American performing artist, composer and actor. He played Jason Voorhees as a child in the horror film, Friday the 13th.
- Undead Johnny: Host of the World of the Weird Monster Show, a sketch comedy/horror TV program in Chicago since 2004.
- Greg “The Hammer” Valentine: American professional wrestler with more than 40 championships!
- Jim Duggan: WWE Hall of Fame wrestler, known for marching into the ring with his 2×3 slung over his shoulder and a red, white and blue flag gripped tightly in his hand.
- Jeff Moy: A penciler who has worked for DC Comics with Legionnaires, as well as Gen 13, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Legion of Superhero comics. He’s also known as a concept artist for many video games.
- Mandy Madrox: Author of Nephilim: House of Mephisto
PLUS many, many more!
Actors, artists, authors, cosplay groups, illustrators, radio personalities, performing artists, publishers – you name it! There will be something to appeal to every fan group!
General admission is $10 for 1 day or $15 for 2 days. Children under 12 are free with adult. Early Bird tickets for Saturday at 8am are $60. A Golden VIP Ticket includes early bird admission Saturday, plus breakfast at 8am on Sunday with actor Deep Roy, an autographed photo of him, and a specially printed golden souvenir ticket, and costs $145.
Hours are Saturday 9-4 and Sunday 9-3, with Early Bird admission Saturday at 8am. Pheasant Run Mega Center is located at 4051 E. Main St. in St. Charles, IL. Parking is free.
