Belvidere, Illinois: The Boone County Fairgrounds will host the 10th ANNUAL “Fleas on Steroids,” “LATE-NITE” FLEA MARKET from 3pm to Midnight!
It’s Moon-Lite Madness for Fleas and Fun! “No need for Sun-Tan Lotion at this Flea Market” stated Bob Zurko of Zurko’s Midwest Promotions; a 47 year veteran of promoting flea markets and special events!
On hand for sale will be an eclectic treasure trove of antiques, collectibles, old & new toys, primitives, estate jewelry, coins, sports items, bargains, close-outs and lots of fun stuff to buy!
Special guest: WWE wrestler Greg “The Hammer” Valentine. Greg is an American professional wrestler, better known as Greg “The Hammer” Valentine.
In the course of his career, which has spanned over four decades, Valentine has held more than 40 championships, including the NWA United States Heavyweight Championship and the WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship. An alumnus of the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004, and was also inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2016.
Plus live music by Steve R. Trent! Rockabilly, Roots Rock, and Country Blues! Also, Dave “Elvis” Ehlert has been performing as the “King” since 1965, that’s 12 years BEFORE Elvis died. He has portrayed Elvis on stage during the terms of NINE U.S. PRESIDENTS!
Also live music by ‘Trinadora.’ Our music is a mélange of standards and original compositions in genres that include jazz, blues, classic country, early rock-n-roll, and more!
The Boone County Fairgrounds meticulously maintained in a park-like setting, is located just east of Rockford, Illinois at 8791 Rte. 76 in Belvidere, Illinois. Market hours will be SATURDAY EVENING from 3pm to Midnight. Admission is $5.00 per adult and kids 12yrs and under are Free, as is parking.
The Market will run “Rain or Moonshine” as dealers will be in buildings, tents and open air. As Bob Zurko stated, “A day of treasure hunting in the country is like a collectors dream!”
